Privacy Policy

Effective date: 1 August 2026
App version: 0.9.0

1. Who we are

Vokabulario is operated by Kastlerio s.r.o., ID No. (IČO): 298 62 078, registered office: Chudenická 1059/30, Prague 10 - Hostivař, 102 00, Czech Republic ("we", "us"). We are the data controller for any personal data described in this policy. You can reach us through the contact form.

2. Summary

The Vokabulario app does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. It has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting, and no third-party SDKs that access your data. The only personal data we process is what you send us yourself when you contact support.

3. Data stored on your device

Your learning progress, quiz results, streaks, settings, and preferences are stored only locally on your device. This data never leaves your device and we have no access to it. Deleting the app deletes this data.

4. Backup and export

The backup feature lets you export and import your progress as a file. This file stays entirely under your control — you choose where to save or share it. We never receive or access it.

5. Support contact

If you contact us through the contact form, we process your email address, name, and the content of your message solely to respond to your inquiry. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing user support (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We use an email delivery provider to receive and process form submissions on our behalf; it acts only on our instructions. We do not share this data with anyone else and delete it once your inquiry is resolved, or within 12 months at the latest.

6. Third parties

We do not share any data with third parties, because we do not collect any. Note that Apple and Google may process data in connection with app distribution under their own privacy policies.

7. Children

Vokabulario is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly process personal data of children under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. To exercise these rights, use the contact form. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, www.uoou.gov.cz) or your local supervisory authority.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The current version is always available at vokabulario.com. Material changes will be indicated by an updated effective date. This policy is drafted in English; translations are provided for convenience only. In case of discrepancy, the English version prevails.
